RomaInglese is a website which represents freelance English teachers in the Rome area and serves as a place from which they can advertise their services. RomaInglese does not interact with site visitors or have any dealings with them. Our website address is: https://www.romainglese.it

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We do not collect any personal data from site visitors and any communication is between site visitors and the teachers they choose to contact. We collect and store data of all teachers who register with Roma Inglese, firstly to allow that data to be displayed for the benefit of site visitors and secondly to ensure we are complying with Italian general, taxation and labour laws.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media – teacher submissions

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can potentially download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Contact forms are used to allow site visitors to send enquiries to registered teachers. Those teachers will then use those contact details to respond and potentially book lessons. Information provided on contact forms is not used for any other purposes or shared with any third party excluding those teachers contacted.

Cookies

All: If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.

Teachers: If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Teachers: When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Teachers: If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who we share your data with

We do not collect or share personal data excluding that provided by teachers upon registration. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Teachers: For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. This data is provided by the teacher and is retained by us while the teacher is registered on our website. Some data may be retained in accordance with national requirements in order to comply with tax, immigration or other local legislation.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

We do not send or share data with any third party with the exception of messages and comments sent using contact forms which may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Se si lascia un commento, il commento e i relativi metadati vengono conservati indefinitamente. In questo modo possiamo riconoscere e approvare automaticamente eventuali commenti di follow-up invece di tenerli in una coda di moderazione.

Insegnanti: per gli utenti che si registrano sul nostro sito Web, memorizziamo anche le informazioni personali che forniscono nel loro profilo utente. Questi dati vengono forniti dall’insegnante e vengono conservati da noi mentre l’insegnante è registrato sul nostro sito Web. Alcuni dati possono essere conservati in conformità con i requisiti nazionali al fine di ottemperare a normative fiscali, di immigrazione o di altro tipo.
